Golf practice. Met there a man, Lindsay by name, with a young wife and a small baby. He hit the ball brilliantly. Then I noticed his left hand was in fact crippled—not gripping the club at all. That made his performance especially brilliant. I called out loud “beautiful.” He came over to watch me play, and gave me advice. He said he would invite me to his club someday.
