Went to Chinatown to participate in inauguration meeting of “The Anti-Communist Committee for Free China.” Spoke for 10 minutes. Reporters of N.Y. Times and Herald Tribune cornered me to talk about the China Lobby. I explained the relations or rather lack of relations between the Chinese government and Kohlberg and McKee.
P. H. Ho 【霍寶樹] and Chiping Kiang 【江季平] came to dinner. Talked about the whole financial picture. The U.S.A. has in view (1) economic aid, (2) military aid, and (3) import aid.
