While Eighth Army continues to reinforce its defenses, the ROK III and I Corps press forward toward Inje and Yongdae-ri with a full scale attack.
The ROK 3rd, 9th, 11th and Capital（首都） Divisions all participate.
A reconnaissance contingent（特遣队） of the ROK 9th Division（师） that had entered Inje on the previous day encounters an enemy force slightly beyond the town and drives it off before returning to the main body; however, the main attack is unable to reach its objectives due to a combination of the distance involved (Yongdae–ri is nearly fifteen miles northeast of Inje) and the amount of resistance encountered.
Meanwhile, Eighth Army still has no complete picture of where the enemy is deployed.
