午后睡一小时。三点半偕仲揆、三强、孟和谈科代大会仲揆代表报告之内容。

六点徒步回。晚膳后洗浴。张宝堃、姜立夫来谈。据立夫云，渠留台湾仅半载，即至广州岭南大学，数学所仅杨忠道一人尚在台湾，因沙眼未去美国。谓渠处尚有美金二千元可交与数学所。渠原定十号即走，余劝其留至廿号。孟和亦来谈。九点半立夫告别。
