晨六点半起。上午阅校长办公室两月以来所领物品，因闻孙宗彭在外传说有校长公舍去保管股领莲子之传说。初阅四、五月之领物单，并无莲心，且所领物件亦不多，只勘平泉领纸（毛边、十行）等不少，但亦均为公用。余乃询润科，以后取发票来看，始发现有茶叶铺所出莲芯两斤价卅二万元，盖茶叶之名称也。余疑始释。盖余家中从未向公家领什么物品，甚至草纸亦不领也。嘱振公晤李絜非，为出版《浙大日报》事。

午后假寐一小时。五点至网球场，与钱令希、俞国顺、王凯基等打网球至六点。

金楚珍与徐世纶来，遂约晚膳。今日适邀请新来教授朱惠方、李方睡、萧卓然、严钦尚、么枕生、罗登义及邦华、季午、润科、乔年晚膳，膳后谈天一小时始散。上午董时进来谈片刻。
