渠注意做Variable 变星工作。
哈佛现有英国人Dr.Sergei Geposchkin 女士，系世界著VariableStar 专家。
Harvard College Observatory 以贮照片出名于世，现已有五十万张Photograph 照片云。
据子春云，渠与余青松同时由旧金山至Lick Observatoη 及mount Wilson，直至Chicago，青松赴加拿大Toronto 多伦多教书，而张钰哲在WilliamsBay ， Wis.， Yerkes Observatory工作云。
偕子春至Hotel Continental晤杨兆龙不值，余遂回。

中午至Harvard Square 中膳后，赴Institute of Geographical Explorat10n 楼上昕讲。
今日Holmes 讲Glaciat10n and Climate 冰川作用与气候。

五点乘Subway至Park Street，第1次重见Boston Commons 波士顿公园，在Washington St。

至Jordanmarsh Co.购大衣二袭，系英国材料，并不甚佳，索价百元打八折。
又购被单、枕套、招3Spread 床单与Blanket 毯子等。

六点半至赵家，今日为李方桂小孩Peter十二岁生日，大家吃面。
到曾昭抡太太，二十年不见人胖多矣，现在Radcliffe 拉德克利夫学院云。
