本年证婚，连刘之远夫妇已为第4次，故余谓证婚成为大学校长之副业，政府应准挂牌，如律师、医师，乃所以奖励生产也。
次谈及《圣经》St.John 第2章，耶苏至Galilee Cana 地方参加结婚典礼，以酒将用罄，耶苏倾壶中之水，均变为酒。
在目前原子弹时代，铀可变锁，则变水为酒并无足奇。
但其用意在于夫妻和谐，以酒相喻也。
古语云“天作之缘”，古来姻缘之成功在天，而姻缘之美满全系人为，夫妻二方均应努力云云。
