习生来，渠已允接于中学校长事，惟附中教员分为派别，渠颇左袒新进之师范学生，但对于储笑天、王清泉二人教课亦不满。
拟去劳作教员王某，因其有鼓动学生罢王、储二人之课。
余谓王、储如不去，则以两方均不动为是。

二点半至校。
得晓峰05月廿九哈佛大学来书，知哥伦比亚大学Butler校长己退休，任职四十四年。
又荐黄炳坤政治教授。
作函与晓沧。
据来函，知美大使馆文化专员1.H.Paxton将来校，于07月初来参观。
又知美国有大批书籍送各大学，部中派谷琦分发云云。

晚偕希文、允敏至湘江戏园看《寄生草》话剧，系县府、县党部为募集中正堂基金演剧三天。
今日为第2天，原定新时间八点起演，余等于七点到，座中尚寥寥数人，至九点开场座始满。
今日之戏导演为熊佛西，剧中主人寄生草唐文锦之演员即熊太太叶子，演唐立人者为邱堡，此外寒流演吴华清，林薇演许六姊，共三幕。

十二点始散。
