Am now having a dispute with Ho Hao-ao 【何浩若?]【1】 over a house which I bought for CNRRA 【行政院善後救濟總署] and which he wishes to take for the American military people. Franklin 【何廉] came to press me to run for the People’s Convention 【國民參政會]: he is trying his best to promote the interests of the Political Studies Group 【政學系]. Evening, invited Shuhsi 【徐淑希] and his wife to supper. Simple bridge afterwards. H. C. Zen 【任鴻雋] came to talk about the China Foundation: how to re-organize its board and how to guard its interests.
