Asked him to wire Ku 【谷正綱] (1) that I would like to have a long talk with him before I leave, (2) that I would like him to appoint a representative on the Training Committee. Bill Hsu 【徐維廉] of CIC 【中國工業合作社] came with a document dismissing Hou of the S. W. Regional Office. Told him to see O. K. Yui 【俞鴻鈞]. Played two games of chess with Sze Pao 【蔣居仁]; both a draw. Evening, C. C. Wu 【吳景超] and wife, and Y. C. Koo 【顧翊群] and wife came to play bridge.
