In New Guinea… Australian forces take Gusika and Bonga in their advance from Finschafen. Sio, farther north, is shelled by Allied warships.

In Iran… The Teheran Conference continues. Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin and their staffs meet for the first time. The Americans appear to be attempting to distance themselves from the British during the discussions.
