Went to see Dr. Driggs at 11:45. He gave me a complete physical check-up.

Talked with Cabot Lodge over the phone. Told him we would abstain on the deletion or postponement of the Algerian item. He thought the U.S.S.R. might stomach omission of Outer Mongolia.
But a Soviet spokesman publicly states that the U.S.S.R. must have Outer Mongolia or nothing. Now, Outer Mongolia becomes the bone of contention.
