晨六点起。上午八点半至院。中正大学地理教员杨维毅来谈。又东北长春东北研究所李（）平来谈。李于1948年北大化学系毕业，有意来院人化学所，并贡献对于东北科学研究所改进之意见。午后睡一小时。至科代开常务委员会。六点回。
今日院文化宫开幕，余以与人有约，故未往。八点浙大史地系本届毕业生汪安球及北大史学系毕业生祝丰年来。汪原欲人科学院地理所，但以陈述彭故选了郑戚，故汪被派至出版总署， 但汪仍欲人地理所。余告以最近中央教育（部）派了二个清华地理系毕业生祁延年、李文彦来所，故目前颇有困难云。
